Claire Crunk is founder of Trace Femcare, Inc, a US-based brand creating hemp fiber absorbent hygiene products focused on healing the earth through regenerative agricultural systems and regionalized, traceable supply chains.
Claire began her career in hemp fiber markets and technical textile development after leaving a 10-year practice as a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. Starting Southeast Hemp Fiber in 2018, Claire served the sewn products, nonwovens, hemp, and agricultural industries by developing new hemp fiber ecosystems, processing methods, and materials optimization for various product integrations at commercial scale.
Claire reconciles her expertise in women’s health and hemp fiber by bringing the world its first hemp fiber tampon through Trace. A graduate of Birmingham-Southern College (B.S. Biology) and Vanderbilt University (M.S. Nursing), she is currently an executive MBA candidate. Her company holds active membership in SEAMS, INDA, TextileExchange, and C4.
Claire lives in Tennessee with her husband, three daughters, and a host of farm animals.
