Dedicated to education, advocacy and social responsibility, Melanie inspires people to take action and curates multiple events bringing the community together to empower people to be a positive influence. She is a community organizer and advocate for social causes, organizing local benefit concerts for communities in need and producing educational events. Her diverse marketing background encompasses industries ranging from advertising, CPG, healthcare and nonprofits to newer industries like cannabis, hemp and drug policy reform. She is a valuable asset in creating innovative solutions, driving business growth and leading successful campaigns. Melanie’s leadership, skills and experience have been instrumental in helping change and create new legislation in Denver, Washington DC and in Colorado.

For the last six years, she has held leadership roles within social impact organizations and nonprofits such as the Industrial Hemp Research Foundation, Safe Access Colorado, Expunge Colorado, Americans for Safe Access and Cannabis Doing Good. Melanie believes in a more diverse, equitable and inclusive cannabis industry and is the Executive Director for Cannabis Impact Fund, a national nonprofit dedicated to racial justice within and outside the cannabis sector. Melanie is an advocate for sacred earth medicines, community healing, drug reform and social justice and was a petitioner behind Initiative 301 that decriminalized psilocybin mushrooms in Denver.
