Southern Hemp Expo 2019

A graduate from the University of Tennessee, Cody focused on industrial cannabis while pursing a master's degree in Entomology and Plant Pathology. The focus of the degree was establishing a baseline of what insects are associated with cannabis produced in the South East, with the goal of understanding beneficial and pest insect interactions. Cody has now worked with hemp since its US revitalization in 2015, is a founder of the Tennessee Hemp Industry Association and works with farmers across the South East to ensure successful hemp crops by implementing IPM practices.
